THE UNDECIDED EFFECT

TheBradley Effect which alleges that white Americans tell pollsters that they support African-American candidates that they then may or may not vote for, is a hypothesis still awaiting confirmation outside of anecdotal evidence. More troubling that this alleged effect is the nature of the 7% or voters that are still undecided. These voters, if prejudiced, or if simply more likely by demographics to favor McCain could bring victory to the Republican ticket on Tuesday.
